Assistant Manager Engineering Store

Reporting to Asset Reliability Maintenance Manager, and will be placed at our plant in Sei Mangkei, Simalungun, North Sumatera. This position will be responsible to :

• Maintain accurate stock levels, implement inventory control systems, and conduct regular audits.

• Collaborate with maintenance execution, maintenance planners for preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance; ensure timely availability of critical spares.

• Drive 5S implementation, introduce barcode/RFID systems, analyze inventory turnover, reduce non moving and obsolete stock.

• Coordinate sourcing of spares, negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective purchases.

• Maintain accurate records in SAP and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Supervise store personnel, ensure SOP adherence, and provide training on inventory handling and safety practices.

Successful candidate to fill the position will be someone who are :

• Willing to be relocated to Sei Mangkei SEZ, North Sumatera.

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Good english and communication skill

• Experience Minimum 5–8 years in engineering stores management, with at least 3 years in a maintenance environment (preferably in manufacturing or process industry).

• Hands-on experience with SAP systems for inventory and maintenance planning.

• Strong knowledge of spare parts for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment; familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices; excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to analyze inventory data and optimize stock levels.
