Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse supply chain.
Evaluate vendor performance regularly and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and finance, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed purchasing decisions.
Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
