Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including PR review, RFQ issuance, quotation evaluation, and PO creation.
Process purchase requests from departments at the Cikarang plant, ensuring proper item classification, documentation, and requirement details.
Source, negotiate, and procure raw materials, components, equipment, and services required for valve manufacturing operations.
Identify and select vendors in coordination with supervisors and obtain quotations from at least three suppliers where applicable.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
Coordinate urgent purchases with vendors upon management approval prior to PO issuance when required.
Monitor procurement progress and follow up with planners or related teams to ensure timely material availability.
Track delivery status and ensure goods are received as scheduled while preventing stock shortages or overstock conditions.
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct initial and periodic supplier evaluations based on supplier criticality.
Perform cost analysis and support cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or compliance standards.
Ensure procurement processes comply with company procedures and applicable standards (API, ISO, ASME).
Coordinate with Finance for invoice verification, payment follow-up, and budget monitoring.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, pricing trends, and potential supply risks.
Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or heavy industry.
Familiarity with materials and processes related to valve manufacturing is an advantage.
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
