COLLECTION HEAD

About the role

PT Smart Multi Finance is looking for a Collection Head to manage and oversee all collection activities at the Kendari & Sudiang branch to maintain portfolio quality and achieve company targets.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and supervise all collection activities.

• Lead desk and field collection teams to achieve recovery and bucket performance targets.

• Develop collection strategies based on local market characteristics in Kendari & Sudiang.

• Monitor overdue accounts, NPL, roll rate, and collection effectiveness.

• Provide coaching, evaluation, and team development.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth branch operations.

• Handle special cases and maintain good relationships with customers.

• Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

What we're looking for

• At least 4–5 years of experience in multifinance collection, with minimum 2 years in a Supervisor/Head role.

• Strong knowledge of BPKB Motor/Car financing collection processes.

• Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent negotiation, communication and customer service skills

• In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations and best practices in debt collection

• Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Good understanding of Kendari & Sudiang area is an advantage.
