Main Responsibilities:
Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key vendors (Shipping Lines, Trucking, and Coloaders).
Conduct regular field audits to ensure vendor facilities and equipment meet company standards.
Monitor vendor performance (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cargo safety, and cost efficiency.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure competitive rates and service quality.
Act as a bridge between the vendor and the Field Operations team to resolve any issues at the port or warehouse.
Prepare monthly vendor performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement or replacement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Vendor Management or Field Operations within the logistics/shipping industry.
Strong knowledge of Sea Freight, Port Operations, and Inland Transport.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal); Mandarin is a plus.
Willingness to travel to field sites (Ports/Warehouses) frequently.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
