Job Description
The Lead Technician is responsible for leading and executing repair, troubleshooting, replacement, and installation activities of Fire Pumping Systems, Fire Protection Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems at field locations within the Oil & Gas industry. This role ensures that all mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical components—both hardware and software—are properly installed, maintained, and functioning in accordance with applicable standards and safety requirements.
The position requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to guide technicians during field activities. The Lead Technician is also responsible for ensuring the implementation of HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) programs, compliance with work procedures, and the safe execution of all tasks at site.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Technician or Technician in Mechanical, Instrument, or Electrical disciplines within the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Oil & Gas company as a Lead Engineer or in a lead technical role.
Possess a valid SKKNI (Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia) certification relevant to Mechanical and/or Electrical/Instrumentation functions.
Possess a valid K3 Listrik certification (for Electrical/Instrument scope).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Fire Protection Systems and Fire Alarm Systems, including maintenance, repair, accessories handling, and troubleshooting.
Capable of performing field installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Able to implement and comply with HES programs and planning.
Demonstrates good teamwork, communication skills, and leadership ability to lead field technicians.
Domiciled in Pekanbaru – Duri area or willing to permanently reside in Pekanbaru – Duri.
Willing to work in site and field-based environments.
