We are seeking an experienced Chef specializing in Italian cuisine to join our cloud kitchen in Kemang, Jakarta. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality Italian dishes exclusively for delivery and take-away orders. Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare and cook Italian dishes efficiently and consistently to fulfill delivery and take-away orders promptly.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
2. Kitchen Operations:
- Manage kitchen operations in a cloud kitchen setup, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize wastage and ensure freshness.
3. Quality Control:
- Maintain strict quality control standards to deliver food that meets the restaurant's reputation.
- Conduct regular taste tests and inspections to uphold quality and taste consistency.
4. Hygiene and Safety:
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations in compliance with local health department standards.
- Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are clean and well-maintained.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, ensuring seamless coordination to fulfill orders efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with the front-end team to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef in a restaurant, preferably with expertise in Italian cuisine & Western food.
2. Fluent in both English and Indonesian languages, both spoken and written.
3. Proven experience in managing a kitchen, particularly in a delivery and take-away setup.
4. Strong knowledge of Italian culinary techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining quality and consistency during peak hours.
6. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
7. Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
