About the role
We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team at PT. WASTEK AGRO INDONESIA' in North Jakarta, Jakarta. This is a full time role that will play a crucial part in supporting our agricultural operations and helping to drive sustainable farming practices.
What you'll be doing
Providing expert advice and guidance on crop production, soil management, and sustainable farming techniques
Conducting field assessments and research to identify opportunities for improving crop yields and quality
Developing and implementing agricultural plans and strategies to optimize the use of resources
Collaborating with our farmers to introduce new technologies and methods that enhance efficiency and sustainability
Monitoring crop health and performance, and recommending appropriate interventions
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in agronomy
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our agricultural operations
Act as a liaison between the company and clients to ensure satisfaction with agronomic services and solutions.
What we're looking for
A degree in Agronomy
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agronomist or in a similar role
Proven expertise in crop production, soil management, and sustainable farming practices
Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with farmers and stakeholders
Passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement in the agricultural sector
Familiarity with the local agricultural landscape and regulations is preferred
Have integrity, honesty, good attitude and can coordinates well with support staff at company
Good communication skills in English
Familiar with power point and excellence doing the presentation.
Willing to travel domestically and abroad
