Export & Import Staff
About the role
PT Quality Works is seeking an experienced Export & Import Staff to join our team in Lamongan, East Java. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in managing the import and export operations of our manufacturing business. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the import and export process, ensuring seamless logistics and compliance with relevant regulations.
What you'll be doing
Coordinating the import and export of goods, including processing documentation (booking, checking PEB/PIB, Create COO, Invoice/PL, submit shipping instruction, BL), liaising with customs authorities, and managing shipping logistics
Ensuring compliance with all relevant import and export regulations, including customs clearance procedures
Coordinate & Liaises with EMKL, Forwarder and Customer Support on delivery schedule and ensure timely delivery
Identifying opportunities to improve import and export processes and implementing process improvements
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise the supply chain and minimise delays
Monitoring shipment status, coordinating and communication with related departments
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in an import/export or customs-related role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of import and export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and relevant documentation requirements
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
Proficient in using relevant software and systems for managing import and export processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Fluency in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal
