Job Summary:
To maintain power plant assets for sustainable, reliable and safe operation.
Role and Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and manage R&M scope of power plant for asset include coal fired steam boiler, steam turbine generator, cooling tower, diesel genset, belt conveyor etc.
Responsible to establish, manage and implement an effective preventive maintenance plan to ensure power plant reliability
Ensure that preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance is executed as per schedule.
Responsible to regularly review preventive maintenance plan to improve its effectiveness.
Report to superior regularly on preventive maintenance activity progress and effectiveness.
Provide maintenance support for corrective repair during breakdown.
Maintain a good engineering documentation system for power plant, including repair history, equipment health check report, regular check list, engineering drawing, instruction manual etc.
Plan and organize major over haul activities for power plant, boiler and its auxiliary system.
Lead TPM activity at power plant. Coordinate with power plant operation team for TPM activities.
Identify spare parts requirement for power plant for approval to purchase.
Review performance of power plant with operation team on regular basis.
Provide skill and knowledge training for down line to improve their effectiveness in maintaining power plant reliability.
Establish procedures and work instruction for power plant maintenance work.
To monitor outsource contractors’ job execution and performance.
To maintain safe working environment of power plant.
To perform any duties as assigned by his supervisor to meet the company operation need.
Job Success Requirements
Degree in Mechanical/Engineering with minimum 5 years working experience in maintenance management
Experience in power plant maintenance environment.
Hands on engineer, good sense of urgency during contingency
