Get to Know the Role

You will manage a portfolio of complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish across a wide range of topics - primarily focused on how Grab serves businesses across SEA. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and articulate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

As a TPM you'll be the bridge between various Engineering teams as well as with business teams, by working with people from all parts of Grab's online and offline/operational teams to deliver new features to market that impact the lives of millions of passengers, drivers and merchants every day. Your mission is to accelerate impact, build performing teams, remove inefficiencies, drive effective prioritization and streamline tech processes. You will report to the Senior Technical Program Management Leader, and will be based fully on-site in Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• General Program management - manage project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, identify risks and resolve impediments
• Work with teams of Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Analysts and QA to ensure successful program delivery.
• Lead communication efforts to align multiple engineering organizations on complex programs.
• Coach teams on multiple delivery frameworks and methodologies best suited to their execution needs
• Drive roadmap planning and prioritization processes
• Find ways to help teams and the organization improve how it delivers.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Experience range of 5 to 8 years managing Agile software projects
• You have a background in project delivery or technical leadership, complemented by strong organizational and interpersonal skills to enable your success in Grab's fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive execution and deliver results by communicating effectively with, and influencing, leadership stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in a dynamic fast moving environment where autonomy and self-decision making and prioritisation is needed.
