About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sea Freight Pricing Staff to join our team at PT GANINDO MARINE TRANSPORT'. This is a full-time position based in Central Jakarta, Jakarta. As the Sea Freight Pricing Staff, you will be responsible for quoting, negotiating and managing sea freight rates and pricing for our diverse range of clients in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.
What you'll be doing
Providing accurate and competitive sea freight rate quotes to customers in a timely manner
Negotiating sea freight rates with carriers and logistics partners to secure the best possible pricing for our clients
Maintaining and updating our sea freight pricing database to ensure information is current and accurate
Collaborating with the sales and operations teams to understand customer requirements and deliver optimal freight solutions
Analysing market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities to improve our service offering
Providing regular reporting and analytics on sea freight pricing, volumes and profitability
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum 2 years experience in sea freight pricing or a similar role within the freight/cargo forwarding industry
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pricing data
Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and carriers
Proficient in using freight pricing and quoting software and systems
Knowledge of sea freight regulations, documentation and industry best practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
