About the role
Belalu Bali Boutique & SPA experience is seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Ubud, Bali. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in managing the financial accounting and reporting for our boutique hotel and spa operations.
What you'll be doing
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
Providing financial insights and recommendations to support the decision-making process
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
What we're looking for
Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CPA or ACCA)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the hospitality industry
Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Excellent English language - verbal and written and a proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and timeliness
