Manage and control all procurement and import activities, ensuring optimal cost, quality, delivery, and compliance with customs policies, standards, and regulations.

Manage end-to-end procurement and import activities to ensure timely availability of goods and services within budget.
Source, assess, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international vendors to obtain the best value in terms of cost, quality, and service.
Ensure all import and export activities comply with domestic and international laws, including customs regulations, tariffs, trade agreements, and sanctions.
Manage import and export costs by negotiating with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to achieve competitive rates.
Monitor the inspection and quality control of incoming goods to ensure compliance with agreed specifications and standards.
Ensure all procurement and import documents are properly prepared, documented, archived, and easily accessible for audit purposes.
Prepare procurement performance reports, vendor evaluations, cost analysis, and purchasing forecasts.
Update and ensure compliance with regulations related to customs, taxation, and government requirements.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead, manage, and develop the procurement & import team, including manpower planning, performance management, and team capability development.
Support the implementation of safety, health, and compliance programs within the procurement function.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) from any major.
Minimum 4 years of working experience in procurement, import-export, or related roles, preferably in a supervisory/section head position.
Strong knowledge of customs, taxation, and import-export regulations.
Proficient in computer usage, especially Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
