Position: HR – Industrial Relations Supervisor
Level: Supervisor
Reporting Line: HR IR Manager / Head of HR (Holding)
Location: Head Office (with frequent travel to sites)
To support the management of industrial relations across companies by ensuring compliance with labor regulations, handling employee relations cases, and assisting in maintaining a constructive and harmonious industrial climate across holding and subsidiaries.
Industrial Relations & Compliance Support
Assist in handling industrial relations matters in accordance with Indonesian Manpower Laws and regulations.
Support the implementation of disciplinary actions, warnings, and termination processes under guidance from HR IR Manager.
Assist in ensuring company policies, PP, PKB, and HR procedures are compliant with applicable regulations.
Monitor basic labor regulation updates and support compliance implementation.
Employee Relations & Case Handling
Handle day-to-day employee relations issues, including grievances and minor disputes.
Support investigations related to employee misconduct and prepare documentation.
Act as a liaison between employees, site HR, and management for IR-related matters.
Union & External Relations Support
Support coordination with labor unions, Manpower Offices, and other relevant external parties.
Assist in preparing materials and documentation for bipartite and tripartite meetings.
Accompany management or HR IR Manager in manpower inspections or dispute mediation sessions.
Documentation, Reporting & Administration
Prepare and maintain IR-related documentation, case files, and correspondence.
Support drafting and updating Company Regulations (PP), Collective Labor Agreements (PKB), and IR SOPs.
Compile IR reports and summaries for holding management.
Support to Subsidiaries & Sites
Provide operational IR support to HR teams at subsidiaries and project sites.
Assist in audits, compliance checks, and IR-related projects at holding level.
Support workforce management initiatives as required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Industrial Relations or Employee Relations.
Experience in handling IR cases at operational or site level is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Indonesian Manpower Law and IR practices.
Experience in handling employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and documentation.
Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential matters.
Other Requirements
Willing to travel frequently to subsidiaries and project sites.
Able to work under supervision while managing day-to-day IR tasks independently.
Experience in industries such as forestry, plantation, mining, manufacturing, or energy will be an advantage.
