Export Document Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Document Officer to join our dynamic team at PT Honour Lane Shipping in South Jakarta, Jakarta. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the preparation and processing of export documentation to ensure seamless and compliant shipping operations.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and process all necessary export documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and other customs-related forms

• Ensure that all export documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner to relevant authorities and shipping partners

• Liaise with internal departments, clients, and shipping agents to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to export documentation

• Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations, policies, and procedures, and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance

• Maintain detailed records and generate reports on export activities as required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role in export documentation, preferably in the shipping/logistics industry, with expertise in trade with the United States.

• Strong understanding of export regulations, customs requirements, and documentation procedures

• Familiar with ISF, AMS, ENS, ACI, eManifest

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Proficient in using office software applications, particularly spreadsheets and document management tools

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
