Logistics officer

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Officer to join our team at PT. Idelux Furniture Indonesia' in Semarang, Central Java. As a Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing company.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and oversee the efficient flow of goods and materials with cross-functional teams through our warehousing and lead the shipment loading

• Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts timely and recommend replenishment to prevent shortages

• Liaise with suppliers and transportation providers (3PL) to negotiate rates and maintain relationships

• Work closely with the warehouse & exim staff, promoting best practices in storage and handling

• Transportation Coordination: Schedule and track domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and land.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

• Prepare and produce export-import reports periodically

Qualification :

• A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is typically required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Ex-Im & or logistics operations, preferably in the manufacturing industry

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs systems (CEISA, INSW) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Proficient in inventory management systems and data analysis

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Fluent in English, both written and verbals

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
