About the role
Xingle Mandarin is seeking a passionate, patient, and experienced Mandarin Teacher to join our growing team in Serpong, Banten.
This role focuses exclusively on teaching children, ranging from preschool to primary school level.
As a Mandarin Teacher at Xingle Mandarin, you will play a key role in shaping learners’ language foundation, confidence, and curiosity toward Mandarin and Chinese culture through engaging, age-appropriate, and structured lessons.
This is a full-time position, ideal for educators who genuinely enjoy working with children and want a long-term teaching and career path, not just a short-term teaching role.
What you'll be doing
Designing and delivering fun, interactive, and structured Mandarin lessons for children (preschool & primary school students)
Teaching core Mandarin skills including listening, speaking, reading, and basic writing, adapted to each age group
Using songs, games, storytelling, visuals, and activities to maintain children’s engagement and interest
Monitoring student progress and providing individualized feedback to support each child’s development
Managing classroom dynamics and maintaining a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment
Collaborating with academic coordinators and fellow teachers to improve curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching methods
Maintaining accurate student records, assessments, and progress reports
Communicating clearly and professionally with the internal team regarding student development
What we're looking for
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin, Chinese Studies, Education, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Mandarin, preferably as a second language
Strong proficiency in Mandarin, both spoken and written
Solid understanding of basic teaching pedagogy and classroom management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for teaching and working with children
Willingness to continuously learn, improve, and grow as an educator
Highly Desirable:
Experience teaching children, especially preschool and primary school students
Familiarity with early childhood or primary education methods
Ability to manage children with different learning speeds and personalities
Experience using creative, play-based, or interactive teaching approaches
