Finance & Accounting Staff

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Staff to join our growing team at PT. Mitra Utama Plastindo in Surabaya, East Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and accounting support to ensure the smooth operation and financial well-being of our company.

What you'll be doing

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

3. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports

4. Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts on a regular basis

5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

6. Provide administrative support to the finance and accounting team as needed

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

3. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills

4. Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

7. Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
