Molding Supervisor

Responsibility:

• Process development and optimization, implement lean manufacturing, minimize downtime and scrap, reduce costs for new and existing products to ensure efficiency, stability, and high-quality output.

• Project planning, working closely with customers to define projects objectives, outline deliverables, and establish realistic timelines.

• Team management, effectively managing the development team, fostering a collaborative environment and optimizing team performance and imparting skills and expertise.

• Quality Assurance, monitor quality control processes to maintain product excellence, conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks at various stages of development.

• Trouble shooting, diagnoses and resolves daily production problems, including issues with materials, equipment’s and process setting. Compliance, ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• New Products Introduction supports the launch of new products by leading mold trial runs and ensuring new designs are manufacturable.

• Risk assessment and mitigation, problem solving, lead root causes analysis and corrective actions for molding/tooling related issues, maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline field, with min 5 years’ working in the same position, in injection molding and mold design at manufacturing.

• Technical capability (Proficiency in molding processes and manufacturing principles like scientific molding).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes, problem solving/analysis, communication proficiency.

• Good in English and attitude, with adaptability to company culture, teamwork spirit and influence skills, problem solving skills, seek for continuous improvement, active listening, presentation skill.
