About the role
As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative art lessons to our secondary school students, helping them to develop their artistic skills and appreciation for the visual arts.
What you'll be doing
Plan and deliver art lessons that are aligned with the school curriculum and cater to the needs and interests of secondary school students
Facilitate hands-on art activities and projects that allow students to explore different media and techniques
Assess and provide feedback on students' artistic progress and development
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular projects and activities
Contribute to the overall artistic and cultural life of the school through exhibitions, events and extracurricular activities
Maintain a safe and well-organised art classroom environment
What we're looking for
Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching art at the primary or secondary school level
Strong knowledge of various art media, techniques and art history
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students
Creativity, patience and the ability to inspire and nurture students' artistic talents
Familiarity with the Indonesian national curriculum or willingness to adapt
