CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Patient Assessment & Monitoring:
Taking vitals (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), collecting medical histories, observing progress, and evaluating symptoms.
Ø Care Delivery:
Administering medications (including IVs), providing treatments, wound care, and assisting with physical exams and procedures.
Ø Planning & Documentation:
Developing and updating patient care plans, charting treatments, and maintaining detailed medical records.
Ø Patient & Family Education:
Explaining conditions, treatments, and preventative care, offering emotional support.
Ø Collaboration:
Working with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Ø Advocacy:
Acting as a patient advocate and ensuring their rights and needs are met.
Ø Environment Management:
Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, preparing equipment.
