To manage and control project costs for port and marine infrastructure projects by verifying invoices and progress claims, developing project budgets and cost estimates, and ensuring cost accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with approved scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering or Accounting
Minimum 2 years of experience in cost control or project cost management, preferably in port or marine infrastructure projects.
Experience in invoice checking and verification, progress claim evaluation, and cost documentation.
Able to develop and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cost forecasts.
Proficient in project control software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
Skilled in Advanced Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
Familiar with port and marine infrastructure scope, including Jetty, Port, Wharf, Vessel operations, Dredging, and Reclamation works.
Able to coordinate with engineering, construction, and PMO teams.
Willing to be assigned to port project site and travel as required.
Good communication skills; English proficiency is an advantage.
Review and verify invoices, progress claims, and payment certificates related to port projects.
Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets and contracts.
Prepare and update project budgets, cost estimates, and cost forecasts.
Track project progress and perform cost versus progress analysis.
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to validate quantities, progress, and cost accuracy.
Review cost impacts related to variations, additional works, and claims.
Prepare cost reports, summaries, and recommendations for PMO and management.
Maintain proper documentation for cost control and financial tracking.
Support project planning and scheduling activities using MS Project or Primavera P6.
Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related input for decision making.
