To support the planning, review, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for port and infrastructure projects by ensuring technical compliance, constructability, and alignment with project specifications, standards, and schedules.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience in engineering and/or construction).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in analysis, calculation, design, or drafting of technical aspects of MEP in port and/or infrastructure projects.
Good understanding of technical specifications and drawings, construction methodology, and relevant standards (e.g. SNI, API, ASTM, IEC) related to port and/or infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in CAD and technical software such as AutoCAD, AutoPipe, ANSYS, Tekla, SketchUp, or other relevant engineering tools is preferable.
Prior exposure to EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects or maritime infrastructure, specifically in MEP works, is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to travel to Merauke, project sites, contractor workshops, or conduct site visits, surveys, and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) if required.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
Assist in reviewing technical drawings, reports, and specifications submitted by contractors and/or consultants.
Conduct feasibility analysis and technical due diligence on proposed MEP solutions.
Identify, evaluate, and assess technical risks, and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
Prepare technical reports, recommendations, presentation materials, and technical considerations for PMO and/or Head of Port & Infrastructure.
Participate in site visits, inspections, coordination meetings, and progress meetings with internal teams and external parties.
Support tendering processes, including technical evaluations, comparison sheets, and clarification during bidding stages.
Coordinate with civil, structural, and operational teams to ensure MEP integration aligns with overall port and infrastructure design.
Monitor MEP implementation to ensure compliance with approved design, specifications, standards, and project schedule.
