Batu Karang Group is a growing company in the mining and energy industry. We are strengthening our digital presence and seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to develop and manage our social media platforms from the ground up, including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, to elevate our brand presence.

📌 Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute social media strategies from scratch, especially for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, aligned with the company’s brand and values.

• Manage company social media accounts end-to-end, including content planning, copywriting, scheduling, and publishing.

• Create engaging, informative, and visually appealing content (feeds, reels, stories, short videos, and LinkedIn posts) relevant to the mining and energy industry.

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather content from operational activities, corporate events, CSR programs, and employer branding initiatives.

• Maintain consistency in brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms.

• Monitor social media trends and adapt them into suitable content while maintaining a professional corporate image.

• Engage with audiences through comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.

• Analyze social media performance using insights and analytics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Support digital communication needs for campaigns, events, and corporate announcements.

🎯 Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing social media platforms, preferably within the mining, energy, or heavy industry environment.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Social Media Management, Content Creation, or Digital Marketing.

• Strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and brand communication.

• Excellent content creation, storytelling, and professional copywriting skills.

• Basic design skills (Photoshop) and video editing abilities are strong advantages.

• Ability to read, interpret, and utilize social media insights and analytics.

• Creative, detail-oriented, communicative, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
