Customs Clearance Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Customs Clearance Officer to join our dynamic team at PT Ever Faith Logistics International in Gresik, East Java. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant handling of all customs clearance procedures for our import and export operations.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and submitting customs declarations and related documentation to the relevant authorities

• Liaising with customs officials to address any queries or issues that arise during the clearance process

• Staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure compliance

• Coordinating with logistics teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods through customs

• Maintaining accurate records and reports on all customs clearance activities

• Providing guidance and support to other team members on customs-related matters

• Experience in customs clearance or import/export roles

• Strong understanding of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex customs issues

• Proficiency in customs clearance software and systems

• Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure to meet deadlines
