Account Payables

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role at PT Masco Energi' is a contract position based in Jakarta. As the Account Payables, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, especially payment schedule for project's vendor & supplier, ensuring timely and accurate payments . This critical finance role contributes to the company's and project's overall financial health and operational efficiency.

What you'll be doing

1. Validate, process and manage vendor invoices, including data entry, invoice reconciliation, and approval workflows

2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation

3. Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any invoice discrepancies or payment issues

4. Liase with cross internal division such as cost control, project directors, and finance

5. Prepare and submit timely payments to vendors and suppliers

6. Provide reporting and analysis on accounts payable performance and metrics

7. Support the month-end close process by ensuring all payables are recorded accurately

8. Assist with other finance and accounting tasks as needed

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Finance or Accounting

2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance role

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy

4. Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

7. Knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices

8. Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
