We are a national construction company looking for an experienced Head of Civil Engineering to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and supervise all civil engineering design and construction activities.
Manage project timelines, budgets, method and resource allocation to achieve performance targets.
Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, MEP, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the civil engineering team.
Oversee site inspections, quality control processes, and adherence to construction standards.
Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders for meetings, negotiations, and project updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in managing civil design and implementation for building or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards and project management principles.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with clients and project partners
Willing to travel to project sites as needed.
