Job Descriptions:
Conduct technical B2B sales of engine oil and lubricant products by presenting, recommending, and selling solutions to customers across automotive, heavy equipment, transportation (bus/truck), industrial, marine, and heavy-duty engine sectors.
Independently manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts, including scheduling and conducting regular customer visits to maintain strong relationships.
Introduce and promote new engine oil products and solutions, supported by product demonstrations and technical explanations.
Act as the main point of contact for customer issues related to product performance or quality by investigating concerns.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and clients within the assigned territory.
Prepare sales forecasts, track key performance metrics (sales volume, account growth, pipeline), and contribute to sales planning and target setting.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including technical support, marketing, and supply chain teams, to ensure product quality and service standards are met.
Travel as required for customer meetings, exhibitions, technical training, and industry-related events.
Operate independently in the field, requiring strong product knowledge and the ability to deliver technical sales without supervision.
Product focus includes:
Diesel engine oil, gasoline/petrol engine oil, mineral-based, synthetic, semi-synthetic oils, as well as transmission oil, hydraulic oil, and industrial gear oil.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business Administration, or another relevant technical/engineering discipline.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in B2B sales of engine oils, lubricants, or related technical products, preferably from an oil or lubricant distributor company.
Proven hands-on sales experience in diesel engine oil, transmission oil, hydraulic oil, or industrial gear oil, particularly within heavy equipment or transportation (bus/truck) industries.
Strong technical knowledge of engine lubrication systems, including additives, viscosity grades, and applications across automotive, heavy-duty, industrial, or marine environments.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing B2B accounts.
Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision and provide technically sound recommendations to customers.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
