Metal Furniture Drafter
About the role
Ribka Furniture, a leading manufacturer of high-quality furniture in Central Java, is seeking a talented Metal Furniture Drafter to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for our diverse range of metal furniture products, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
What you'll be doing
Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings of furniture designs, including dimensions, materials, and manufacturing specifications
Collaborate closely with the design and engineering teams to refine and finalise furniture designs
Ensure all drawings and designs adhere to industry standards and safety regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all design documentation
Provide support and guidance to production teams to ensure successful implementation of furniture designs
Stay informed of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in furniture design and drafting
What we're looking for
Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar
Excellent technical drawing and design skills with a strong eye for detail
Familiarity with metal furniture construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
