1. Culinary skills and experience in food preparation
2. Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
4. Team player with good communication skills
5. Attention to detail and organization
6. Experience working in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is a plus
7. Formal culinary training or certification is beneficial
