Network Engineer L2

The L2 Network Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of network infrastructure through structured preventive maintenance activities. This role involves supporting the preventive maintenance team with in-depth analysis, configuration updates, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

• Provide second-level technical support for network preventive maintenance activities across client environments.

• Review and analyze network health reports generated from routine preventive checks to identify potential issues or performance degradations.

• Perform advanced configuration checks, firmware upgrades, and patch management on network devices.

• Support junior and on-site engineers by validating findings, guiding troubleshooting steps, and ensuring adherence to technical standards.

• Recommend corrective or optimization actions based on preventive maintenance findings.

• Ensure preventive maintenance processes comply with company policies, security requirements, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networks, or a related field.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or technical support roles.

• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, VPN, firewalls).

• Experience with network monitoring tools and configuration management.

• Proficiency in managing and maintaining enterprise-grade network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.).

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Willing to travel around Indonesia for some period of time
