ADMIN PURCHASING AND SALES SUPPORT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Raise Purchase Orders in line with business rules.

• Source and build relationships with suppliers also negotiate with them for the best pricing.

• Assists sales staff with maintaining price quotes to customer

• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.

• Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.

• Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.

• Coordinating with the delivery team and sales to following up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.

• Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.

• Coordinate with finance department for projects costing and other import related payments.

• Following up with supplier vendors for complete shipping documents.

• Review and validation of shipping documents.

• Close monitoring and tracking of import consignments.

• Coordinate with customs broker for import clearance.

• Coordination with transporters and internal warehouse team for consignment deliveries.

• Filing and archiving of all the import/export documents. Sending out invoices and other paperwork

• Updating customer records

• Checking stock and re-ordering supplies

• Organizing deliveries

• Providing after-sales support

• Typing up documents  like letters and reports

•  Prior experience products in spares parts supply will be an advantage

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree above or related qualification

• 1 years’ experience working in purchasing role for sales driven company preferred.

• Preferably good in English both spoken and written

• To be able to use a computer (MS. Office), email internet and the main so ware packages competently

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Customer service skills

• The ability to use your initiative and work well with others

• Persistence and determination

• The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
