Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development, PMO, or Corporate Development roles.
Previous exposure in the energy or renewable energy industry is mandatory (e.g., geothermal, solar, hydro, biomass, power generation).
Proven experience in conducting feasibility studies, project assessments, and commercial evaluations.
Preferably has strong understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, and business case preparation.
Experience in managing end-to-end project governance, timelines, risks, and stakeholder coordination.
Strong analytical, structural thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to prepare high-quality business proposals and board-level presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across technical, commercial, finance, and legal teams.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Job Descriptions:
Lead and coordinate business development projects from initiation to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, including technical, commercial, regulatory, and financial assessments for new energy/renewable projects.
Support project owners in preparing business cases, investment proposals, and internal approval documents.
Develop and review financial models to assess project viability and provide insights to senior management.
Oversee project governance, track progress, manage timelines, and ensure all milestones are achieved on schedule.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, legal, operations, commercial) to drive project alignment and delivery.
Prepare clear and structured presentations, reports, and dashboards for management and board-level decision-making.
Support market research and competitive analysis to identify potential new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices throughout project cycles.
Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, external partners, consultants, and government entities when required.
