Process Engineering

Functional description

 Work to solve technical issues and develop existing processes in a production line to enable a stable and quality production.

Tasks and responsibilities

To work and control on behalf of PT TDK ELECTRONICS INDONESIA, process engineering activities of AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS production lines in P2 plant, Batam.

The activities cover:

• Improve overall manufacturing processes through analysis and strategic planning.

• Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data

• Designing, running, testing and upgrading systems and processes

• Investigating production problems

• Maintaining statistical and financial records

• Identify inefficient manufacturing processes and work to eliminate them to increase output and decrease costs.

• Conduct layer-2 audits in critical processes and to define action plans to improve it.

Authorization

• Access to SAP system

• Access to Q-Das and MES systems.

• Access to PLANTA system

Conditions of employment and interaction

• Cooperation / adjustment with project leaders of other internal departments within BT TPS

• Working closely with similar positions of other departments of BT TPS.

Requirements

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering discipline

EXPERIENCES

• Experience in manufacturing sector, production or Quality control functions

• Experience of working in ISO 9000/QS9000/VDA 6.1 Quality system environment

KNOWLEDGE

• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic components

• Knowledge of working with components using Microsoft office programs

• Knowledge of production processes, time study, etc.

• Good command on English
