Job Description – Villa & Resort Manager
Position Overview The Villa & Resort Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, and managing all aspects of the property including staff, facilities, and financial performance. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and hospitality skills to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and motivate all operational teams (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, etc.).
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the villa/resort with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Oversee guest services, handle special requests, and resolve complaints professionally.
Manage budgets, cost control, purchasing, and financial reporting.
Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all departments.
Ensure property maintenance and cleanliness meet brand and safety standards.
Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance; create development plans to improve service quality.
Coordinate with owners/management on strategic planning and business development.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulations.
Monitor online reviews, OTA channels, and guest feedback to maintain strong reputation and ratings.
Qualifications
Proven experience as Villa Manager, Resort Manager, or in a similar hospitality management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good financial and operational management knowledge.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Fluent in English (both spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
Strong knowledge of hospitality systems (PMS, reservation platforms, etc.).
Flexible, hands-on, and able to work under pressure.
